CFA ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the preparation of complex financial models, including valuations of companies (DCF analysis, trading and transaction comparables).
• Manage and prepare high quality marketing materials, including pitch books, deal-related presentations and information memorandum.
• Assume responsibility for various processes in ongoing transactions, including co-ordination of due diligence and activities of other advisors (accounting, legal, environmental, other).
• Industry and company research to develop in-depth knowledge with a strategic eye.
• Supervise the outputs of and give guidance to analysts.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years prior relevant work experience in a corporate finance advisory role with a leading bank or boutique or at least 5 years with a leading Management Consulting or Big Four company (only business valuation and corporate finance advisory departments will be considered).
• Higher education in finance / business / mathematics with superior academic performance.
• Involvement in at least 5 prior buy-side or sell-side M&A transactions.
• Highly-developed analytical, quantitative and valuation skills, and a solid foundation in accounting including RAS and IAS.
• Project management and organizational skills, and ability to work on several projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
• Professional fluency in English is a must, only native Russian speakers will be considered
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office required.
• Strong presentation and inter-personal skills, team spirit and ability to function well in and enjoy a high paced, demanding professional work environment.
• International finance certificates (CFA, ACCA, ACA or CPA) or MBA are a strong plus.
